When I close my eyes, I am at the center of the sun
WHO: Senketsu and YOU
WHERE: Places
WHEN: Times (Any day of the week of April 21)
WHAT: A day in the life of clothes.
WARNINGS: None (yet). But it's Senketsu, so blood will inevitably come up.
MORNING
FABRIC STORE
Senketsu finds that, fortunately, he's much more useful at his place of employment than he had feared. Turns out that being exceptionally tall and able to carry a significant amount of weight effortlessly pretty much covers half of what he's asked to do. Navigating the warehouse and leading customers to their desired section is another quarter, and when he's asked technical questions...well, he knows to whom to direct the customer.
Since most of Senketsu's job has him stocking and organizing bolts and reaching onto high shelves as per a shorter customer's request, he can be found just about anywhere at any time, with a smile and polite friendliness that is garnering praise from regulars and new customers alike.
NOON
A LOCAL CAFE
Technically there's no reason for Senketsu to be given a lunch break, since he doesn't really...eat lunch. Yet he takes his break anyway, retreating to a humble little cafe to either read or people-watch. His order of a single cup of hot water has since stopped making baristas quirk their brow, yet they've never asked if it's because he actually wants it or just wants to keep up appearances.
The truth is...it's a little bit of both.
His choice of literature today is a nondescript hardcover book, but if glanced at from the right direction, it's full of illustrated or photographed modern (or at least what this world considers "modern") fashion for both men and women.
EVENING
THE PUBLIC LIBRARY
Senketsu, like an upright and respectable citizen(?), returns his books to the library when he's finished with them, then spends the next hour or two going through the aisles and deciding what to pick up next. Sections of interest? Fashion, textiles, textile manufacturing, and garment construction, of course. Only a few of them are for personal interests, and most of them are solely so he can be even more useful at his job.
Perhaps he may even be poking around in the magazine and newspaper sections, if any of them prove to be useful, but he can only check out so much at one time...
