Hawkeye deftly ejected the clip and placed the handgun on the counter, her gaze not leaving Adachi's face as her fingers found a familiar rag and oil to clean the gun. It might not be her weapon, but she'd be damned if it wasn't returned cleaned and in proper order.
"Handgun. Automatic." Her movements cleaning the gun are quick and precise and it's not but thirty seconds before the gun is reassembled and on the counter.
"While I'm inclined to agree, that isn't an option for Smith," her gaze flits from Adachi to his target before returning to him, sharp and inquisitive. "If he shows no improvement I may have him try my 'ancient' revolver, or my equally 'ancient' semi-automatic."
The sniper crosses her arms, shaking her head. "He can't handle the recoil of the automatic weapon--the police here tend to think of a pistol from 1910 as obsolete, but it will be easier for him to handle."
Hawkeye's expression, just slightly exasperated, suggests that she certainly hopes so.
