WHO: Kaneki, Hide, Hazel, and Josuke
WHERE: Heropa #004
WHEN: Friday evening
WHAT: It's supernatural double-date night!
WARNINGS: Nothing can possibly go wrong! (But seriously, if something comes up, I'll edit this...)
By the time Friday evening rolls around, Josuke's spirits are soaring alarmingly high. Despite someone from home having arrived whom he knows to be dangerous, he'd had a relatively decent long weekend and no homework all week! Even better, he's confirmed that not only will Kaneki and Hide be hanging out at his place tonight, but Hazel, too! They haven't done anything together as a group in what seems like forever, and following Ken's more recent post, well...
It goes without saying that it's beyond time they made some new memories.
For Josuke, that begins with picking out the right outfit for the evening! Something that's not over the top, but not too casual, either. Dark, form-fitting jeans, one of his favorite pairs of Mr. Junko socks (one of the only pairs that he now owns that haven't been mauled to shreds by his kitten), a houndstooth-print belt, and a pale blue short-sleeve button up that's deliberately left partly undone. Once he's got himself in order, the rest is simple. Kaneki and Hazel aren't liable to eat much of anything, so Josuke settles for putting some bottled water and soda in the fridge, putting on a pot of coffee, and digging out the game console in the living room as well as some multi-player games—and movies, for if his company isn't feeling particularly competitive in spirit.
Overall, he's certain his preparations are satisfactory, that tonight should go over without a hitch. He'll get to properly meet Kaneki's boyfriend, make a new friend in the process, and really test out these new waters he and Hazel are treading. Everything required for all of that is ready and in place! All that's left to do is wait for his guests to arrive...
