Deep and meaninful song lyrics I guess

WHO: Niall Wilder ([personal profile] entirely_empathetic) and Ellie Langford ([personal profile] youbastard)
WHERE: Heropa, some coffee shop somehwere
WHEN: March 22nd, afternoonish
WHAT: Talkin' 'bout feeling feelings.
WARNINGS: Morally ambiguous mental hootenanny maybe; will be updated as necessary

Niall waits and watches the other patrons, idly playing with his coffee cup as he pokes around at the minds of the people closest to him. Nothing particularly interesting comes up, not that he expected anything, and he considers calling it a loss and leaving.

He's not quite sure why he's here to be honest; helping others isn't exactly something he does. Especially when it's not guaranteed that he'll get something out of it. But then, this is also the first time he's ever heard of someone with similar powers to his who didn't have anything to do with his home. To say that he wasn't at a little curious would be a lie.

He pulls away from the minds of the people around him, sips his coffee, and settles in to wait a little longer. It'll be an interesting conversation at the very least.

Ellie hadn't really expected so many people to offer their assistance and advice. In fact, she'd at best expected one or two people to give some vague opinion, instead she'd gotten more than a handful that had offered advice and several people that had offered to talk to her in person. It was strange and she'd be lying to herself if she didn't admit that she was really surprised by it all. Her past experiences with people who had offered to help her hadn't gone that well, so there was a part of her that was hesitant with it all.

Still, she was appreciative for the advice and she liked talking to the people that had first hand experience. She was especially looking forward to meeting someone in person that seemed to have a lot of first hand experience.

She smiled politely as she walked up with her hands in the pocket of her jacket.

"Thanks for agreeing to meet me. I appreciate it."
