WHO: Agent Maine and Agent Washington
WHERE: the animal shelter in Heropa
WHEN: July 15th
WHAT: Maine's plan to adopt a cat does not go as planned
WARNINGS: none probably??
[Maine's arrival at Wash's house had only been slightly forewarned, a text sent 10 minutes earlier saying he was on his way over. Now he's at the door in civilian clothes, a T-shirt and cargo shorts. If anything could underscore how much younger Maine was than what you'd expect, it was this, an outfit normal enough he could pass for a particularly burly college student if he wanted to.
Well, if you ignored the uneven patchwork of scars that was scattered across his body. But lets not worry about that, lets instead focus on why Maine's shown up relatively unannounced. At least his natural bluntness means he'll get right to the point when Wash answers the door.]
