"Yeah, I'm good with that." Undershirts, fine. Nice, easy, and pretty damn good for either lounging or working in the kitchen in the summer, when the steam and heat from the burners tends to make things sweltering. So he'll take the offered shirt, and add it to the layers of fabric and hangers tossed over one arm, tacking a few steps to look over a different section than Akihiko. No sense in them just... staring at the exact same thing, after all.
It's still not a whole lot of help, though. He tries picking up a shirt and scrutinizing it, but aside from the colour and maybe the collar, it looks... about the same as the rest. (Maybe he should work more on his imagination when it comes to this sort of thing, figuring out what they'd look like on.)
"I was thinking 'bout taking Soba out to a park in Heropa sometime, now that it's warm enough. So I guess this'll all be good for that." See, he's trying- begrudgingly finding a reason that maybe this is worth their time, sorting through shorts or past those brightly-coloured, leg-hugging pants he'd see chicks at school wearing, when the semester had been in session.
"So... What kinda... shoes would these work with?" Trying. He's trying so hard, Akihiko, his brows all creased and furrowed as he looks down at what he's been handed so far. "Like I'm guessing my boots are out, if I'd be wearing... shorts." Which he probably won't be, he feels. But at least he can ask, and avoid potentially being that idiot with high socks and dumb shoes clashing with whatever he has on. And, even more so, he can actually try and show some reluctant acceptance to his situation here. It would make Aki happy, at least, right?
