Ken's nothing if not surprised when the music player is placed around his neck. It was such a big part of Minato's identity, his music, that he almost jerks back and protests that he shouldn't. He shouldn't! But he stands still, eyes round and staring before he blinks and looks down, touching one of the headphones almost in wonder. It feels like the time with the armband all over again, and he's saddened to remember that he finally took that off his sleeve after his meeting with Crane. That had been a horrible moment for him, but this is comforting and he finds himself nodding before speaks to answer.

"I'll take care of it." He can sort of understand Minato's intentions behind it. But above that, he can also guess, after that earlier confession to him, how much the music must mean to him. When he needs to hide from his thoughts... had Minato always been hiding, too, then, whenever he had his headphones on? He can't quite put it into words. He doesn't know how, except his body tries to express it without words anyway and his eyes sting again, watering up. He turns his head away as he scrubs at them, sniffling. "I promise."
