[Ken watches him. He watches him take out the device, roll it around, and he watched as Tadashi's posture relaxed, too. Watched as he smiled. There's something familiar there, and he doesn't have to search long to find out why. And it makes him smile a little in return. It isn't as bright as when he's actually excited about something, but it's more sincere than the pleasantries he was throwing out before.]
You're a lot like Minato-san.
[That's both a compliment -- Ken's very fond of his leader -- and also an observation he makes with a note to himself. Like Minato, Tadashi was observant and thoughtful. Emphatic, even, though that was something Ken felt from Minato more here than he ever did back home. Tadashi was like that, too, always ready to get on his feet and help someone, it seemed, and the warmness he feels from both of them are very similar. But that also meant that they must have that other trait in common, that trait he and Shinjiro silently agreed on when Minato came back from his disappearance and they were determined not to make him worry about anything but himself. He watches Tadashi, and he wonders just how many people he would say that to if he needed to, and how much he shoved any worries about himself to make space for all those people.
He takes the last few steps forward, pauses, then sits down on the steps next to him, nodding.]
Thank you, Tadashi-san. [He appreciates the offer sincerely, but he'll just stick to this company for now.]
