As if you aspired to be both. Bat and man.

WHO: Alfred Pennyworth and Bruce Wayne
WHERE: The Bat Cave, Wayne Manor, De Chima
WHEN: The late evening of 5/10
WHAT: Alfred whacks Bruce around with a stick. Hilarity ensures. In other words sparring. Verbal and otherwise.
WARNINGS: Feelings and Bat-pain. Nothing overly violent, just a friendly spar between old friends.

For the second time today Alfred makes his way through the hidden entrance to the cave and down the stairs. Once again, he has a tray with food but, this time when he pauses a few steps up there's no sounds of Bruce carrying on a conversation. If, indeed, one could even call it that. Alfred's jaw tenses in anger at even the memory of that conversation - that intrusion of Bruce's privacy here in his home - and he continues to the bottom of the stairs.

It wouldn't, of course, have been the first time that the cave had received an unwelcome guest, but Crane hadn't actually been there in person. That conversation and the date itself had led Alfred to retreating back upstairs, allowing Bruce some time to himself for several hours. Now, though, they needed to talk.

Alfred sets the tray on a small table near the computer and approaches the area just to the left of it. Bruce is fighting with a practice dummy and Alfred allows him to continue for a few more seconds before he takes off his jacket and unbuttons his sleeves, rolling them up a bit. He steps down onto the mats and crosses over to pull a bamboo staff off the wall.

"Shall we give him a bit of a break?" Said with a nod towards the dummy.
