Whether or not he believes what Hisoka's saying doesn't change anything though, because the other man still manages to catch him off-guard. Kite's eyes widen notably and he looks down, clearing his throat to try and hide his own awkwardness. He wasn't even good at dealing with this sort of thing sober, let alone tipsy.
