Wait, is Hisoka...? He is! But how? He's staring right at his Stand when he shouldn't be able to see it! ...just a coincidence?
No, it's not. Crazy Diamond moves, and the other man's eyes register the movement. Which is enough to startle Josuke into letting his Stand disappear again. 'Letting', as if it's not done deliberately so he doesn't have to deal too much with that strange fact. Or the attached thought - Jolyne probably reaming him out if she caught wind of this. And this time, he's kind of thinking he'd deserve it.
...not that it stops him from talking. Hisoka's odd, but he's not so bad. Right?
"Well, the marshmallows were 'breaking down'. I can spit you some science if you want." Somebody please, make him stop with the puns! "There's enzymes in your saliva and that breaks down food, so...technically I really was fixing them. But you can call it restoration if you want, too. In the end...it's all the same."
Josuke shrugs.
The ability isn't trained in the sense that Hisoka's thinking of, but...if he was curious enough to ask, Josuke would tell him more about how he had trained it. Or rather, trained himself to be able to use it. It was a flexible Stand ability, after all, best utilized by a creative mind. All the ways he's thought of how to 'fix' things since he was a kid and came into his power...well, he's lost count of them by now. Not that he was ever actually counting. But there were a lot!
In any case...he shakes his head after a moment. Eyes on the fire.
"Almost anything. For inanimate objects, as long as all the pieces still exist...I can put it together again. And as for people...as long as they're technically still alive, I can heal them."
Which spoke the obvious for him: that he couldn't bring back the dead.
