Mm. The world I'm from is a very limited, controlled place. At the height of the population of the Human Empire, there were probably only a million or so people alive. That was about four, five years ago.

Seems like corruption and laze are world-consistent problems. Anything you can deny enough you're not held responsible for, and who, really, is going to fight for that otherwise?

[ The hardheaded and stupid. The people who had the righteousness to do so, and to not give up. Then again, Annie has never been one of those sort, so the question sounds idle, like it's a passing thought with no real need to pause and answer. ]
