[SEMI-OPEN] no intent to repent
WHO: Walter White & Hank Schrader; OPEN to anyone who might pass by beforehand.
WHERE: Outside of Residence #023 in Heropa
WHEN: Tuesday, February 10th -- all day
WHAT: Walt is just awkwardly waiting for Hank to come home.
WARNINGS: The usual Breaking Bad warnings -- mentions of cancer, drugs, and death are very likely.
[ Walt has had mixed emotions about finding out Hank is here, alive, and walking around. But ultimately he knows he has to face him. This isn't something he can hide from. In a way it's comforting. He would rather have Hank alive in any capacity -- cheating death just for the chance to see him again. On the other hand, Walter knows what it's like to have your death robbed and to be haunted by ghosts of the past you finally thought you had escaped. Hank has every right to hate him, but he at least needs to know Walter is there.
As soon as Jesse was able, Walter asked him to drop him off at Hank's place. And that's where he has been -- sitting outside on the front step. With his dingy clothes (a suspiciously brown, rust-colored stain might be visible beneath his jacket), unkempt hair (he has a full head of it now) and overgrown beard, Walt could be easily mistaken for a homeless man. He does very little to ward off this impression, staring out across the street and watching vehicles (fly??) drive past as though he has nothing better to do with his life.
At the moment, he really doesn't. ]
