The tease does draw the first small smile out of Legolas. The puff of smoke had not helped, but the lack of dragonfire was another reassurance. He looked between the two.

"The sun has yet to set upon my first day here. It is... a strange land, unlike the forests I grew up in, and even less like the few towns of Men that I have seen." It was bigger, for one. "It will take me many ages before I feel I can understand Men and their choices." Why build a city that housed so much life, but felt so dead? Strange.
