It does get boring, yes. If Hisoka is bored with it, imagine how Chrollo feels. But it is what it is - and that's "necessary, for the moment." So he keeps it plastered on his face, and he nods a little at Hisoka's comment.
"You're definitely more extroverted than I am." Not that this is saying much. "Well, maybe I'll enjoy it after all. It depends on the company, doesn't it?"
Chrollo nods and... for a moment, he almost considers staying. Because Hisoka looks so... off, there. So out of place, and not himself. And it isn't as though he cares that deeply about it, but...
...he had, once, hadn't he? Before the truth became undeniable. Of course things have changed since then: Hisoka revealed his true nature, which hadn't really come as a surprise, but was nonetheless... disappointing. And with his renunciation of the Troupe, Chrollo had cast that man out of the space he kept for his Spiders. But even so, he doesn't have amnesia, not about that. Hisoka had lived inside him for years and yes, he does remember.
Of course, he also remembers that those years were an elaborate ruse to try arrange a chance to murder him for thrills. And that only a few moments ago Hisoka would have been on his throat like a rabid wolf if it weren't for that glass... not to mention that he'd purposefully twisted a knife in Chrollo's chest on the one subject that could truly wound him.
So... honestly, to hell with that. He can manage another two days of emptiness.
"Good then. I'm anticipating your new look." Chrollo gives his pretty, fake smile, and turns away. "Good night."
