purgation: except for when they're bad at being elders (and mind your elders)

Who's trying? He's pretty much come right out and said it: he thinks you're a high risk, Hisoka. Of course, the greater the risk, the greater the payoff in the end...isn't that the golden rule?

He's not a gambler, but he knows how he felt taking down certain criminals back home, and how he felt taking them down here. First-timers and accidents are but a pittance. It's those who have drenched themselves in the blood of others, who've tread roads paved with corpses, that he truly seeks to purge.

And he believes wholeheartedly, genius or no, all criminals will be caught eventually, will slip somewhere down the line. It's what they do. There is a pleasure in chase and resistance, in holding their accomplishments over others. Some are more outspoken about it than others, but in the end, at least in Yuri's eyes, that is the one thing every criminal has in common with each other.

"I don't think your vie for registration will be denied."

And he doesn't. Likely, the demonstration of such commitment is exactly what the government of this world hopes to see following the completion of a sentence. It makes things easier for them, especially as death seems to be impermanent here for imPorts. The only way then to clear a prison cell is to wait until the imPort within is ported out, or to put them on 'probation'. For those who've lost their jobs due to their incarceration, possibly even their homes, their friends, and other connections...having an opportunity still to register (or work from a 'clean slate' if they were registered prior) is something of a safety net.

Still a net, meant to capture, but...it definitely prevents any unnecessary falling. Enticing in its own way, the appeal undeniable.

Yuri's gaze trails back to Hisoka.

"Are you accepting my proposal, then?"

If so, he'll need to prepare the things he's promised. It won't take very much time, but he'll take all the time he's allotted. Even if his goal is, in the end, to kill this killer, to see true justice served, there is no harm in attempting to lay down a positive foundation before hand, especially if the clown will revive. And in order to do that, he desires quality material.

But that's Yuri...always taking his work very seriously.
