That's not something he initially sees at first in him, though should he later- it'll only make sense. And that being said, that almost- two faced person, would then ping him for being more like Chrollo than Illumi. It's difficult to tell speaking to him if there's some crazed darkness in him, even darkness alone. What he sees lying in him isn't madness but just- something fierce, impressive, driven. That's what he's interested in, though only as far as seeing him in action. Should he be proven wrong his interest will quickly disperse.
He's- never fully understood this persona business. Being a completely different person- some masked man other than himself- liberated as someone else? He can understand it logically, ah- to be someone else would help in certain situations, yes. Useful. But he really can't imagine being anyone but himself, ever feeling more liberated than how he always has been- since he's earned the right anyway.
That said- he's certainly fascinated by the concept. Or would be.
"I was laughing because it was funny." Plain and simple. Cocking his head, he catches Yuri's gaze again, staring as he speaks. Of course he's not concerned for him, who is? Who ever has been? This is idle chat and he's amusing himself, but it doesn't seem like he'll get witty banter with this man. Not that he expected it.
A sigh, steepling his brows slightly.
"Then I'd say-" His mouth opens, jaw sagging for a moment before he brings up the card and drags his tongue along one of it's edges slowly. His breath drawn out, eyes slowly closing.
"I'd accept anything you'd give me." Smile- tilting the card away from his mouth, chuckling, eyes languidly opening and directing their stare at Yuri again. "Or the public, I suppose."
