By Standing on the Shoulders of Giants
WHO: Ira Gamagori and OPEN
WHERE: Cape Canaveral, Heropa, then Nonah the first day. De Chima and Maurtia Falls the second.
WHEN: 12/8-12/10
WHAT: Regular patrols.
WARNINGS: None yet.
This is the usual.
You might've felt it before.
Been inside when you did- but felt it. Thought it a general Earthquake by the feel, a thick cloud over the sun from your window, making the light shade for a short while- but it's normal. Something, twice a month, though it didn't occur much during last month. That shake, the shade- no but it's back. Though maybe you were outside at some point when it did happen. When someone out of a Godzilla movie, a gundam film stalked like some broad giant through the city streets. Though not a building did it tumble, not a car did he crush. The man stands the size of a building and yet he moves slowly, carefully. Those walking below him either are just as used to this by now, or are just as surprised as you might be- but the giant doesn't-
appear to be a threat.
His expression stony, brows thick as they furrow, yet his uniform is- well cleaned- his hair groomed. His spiked gauntlets and shoulders broad and yet no building goes scraped as he moves. A mobile bulwark walking through various cities at different times. His eyes wide, gaze vigilant. The man does what he does every time when he walks through the streets like this, watches. Looks.
Patrolling. Because he must! Must keep watch, registered or not, people must still remain safe, and whether you know him as Gamagori or not- his enemies and those deserving of punishment and pursing will get to know it.
Keeping people safe even while he changes his size to deal with more narrow streets, or larger areas. Fluctuating in order not to topple anything, crush anyone. He's careful, and dedicated, even utters and apology here or there were he to get in the way of a car or cyclist, but other all seems to be really- used to being this size. Seems to know exactly where to step, know the timing. And he just- keeps at it. Till sometimes he sees something.
Till the giant SHRINKS. Suddenly so, small, though still large for a man, eight feet- and books it after someone. Runs and leaps to catch them. A man stealing a purse, a mugger, even a car that ran a red light and almost caused a fatal accident to someone. Anything he sees amiss.
[OOC: CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE! Feel free to take the general prompt and just interact with Gamagori while he's in giant mode patrolling. Sit on a shoulder or head or cry out from a window or from a street to get his attention, what have you. Hey big and tall, what're you doing. Or make your own! Making situations where he needs to shrink down and follow someone to chase down some ass hole that pickpocketed or something more dangerous is totally on the board.
Or if- you wanna be the criminal or taunt him or whatever, feel free to. But make whatever scene you want for him to come across if you feel it in your bones. You justice bones.]
