He wipes the pin clean immediately afterward, before he takes the handkerchief to his finger. Once he's done, he holds his hand out for Kay to see. There is no scab, there is no scratch, there isn't any sign of injury save for some quickly fading redness around the tip of his finger. It's as if it had never been pricked.

"It's only a minor example of what my body can do," he explains, "But I think you can imagine why I wouldn't want to show off too much."
