Jonathan had a few friends he bought presents for, and on Christmas Eve he can be seen, delivering those presents to those friends houses. Maybe you're one of those friends, opening the door after Jonathan rang your doorbell to see him waiting with a huge grin on his face and a brightly wrapped present in hand. Or maybe you run into him on the way to delivering said present. Either way, he was going around with a cheerful, upbeat attitude, excited for the holiday.
December 26th, Seeing the De Chima snow
Jonathan had been prepared for the colder winter climate in Virginia. He'd basked under a for about a half hour before leaving, and bundled up in the big, warm sweater Maxie gave him, as well as a winter coat, but he was only expecting a Virginia winter, and in a Virginia winter, there should not be all that snow. The second he arrived in De Chima via porter and looked out, seeing all the snow, he simply said, "Nope."
Then, he turned around and went back.
He could call in sick to work.
December 27th – January 2nd, De Chima
After the first day of sudden snow, Jonathan prepared for it even more. Now he warmed his body up for hours before leaving, bundled up in several sweaters, his coat, gloves, hat, a scarf, anything to keep him from losing that stored up body heat any faster than he could avoid. He also brought a gym bag with a small, portable heater in it that he could plug in and warm up in front of once he got to work. If anyone encountered him now, they might notice him grumbling about the weather. For most of his journey he'd move as quickly as possible, trying to get to work before his body temperature started to drop, but when he got close to work he'd start to slow down as he cooled off slightly. Fortunately, by the time that happened he was close to his destination, where he could get inside and warm up.
