[ Reiner, dressed to match Annie with a crudely polished plastic crown cocked at an angle in his hair -- the costume is a bit small on him, skirt hanging by his knees, and he seems to have forgone matching shoes in favor of wearing none -- does not look amused. He looks, in fact, like he'd rather be anywhere else but here but is making the effort anyway, perhaps because he feels he owes it to Annie somehow to be there with her. It's not her fault he's not been in a celebratory mood for quite some time now, after all. Now that they're friends, she's the one he has to be there for; neither of them really have anyone else, not in comparable ways.
He isn't dancing, although -- arms crossed -- his fingers drum in time with the music now and then against the opposite bicep. He doesn't really understand how this is music that can be danced to, but watching everyone else allows him to pick it up a little through observation. ]
