Calling everybody 'weird' is rude.
WHO: Shiki Tohno, Residents of #019 and ...You?
WHERE: Shiki, walking throughout the city and to his apartment. He can be found on the way there and in the apartment.
WHEN: 2/23 - Late morning to the evening.
WHAT: Shiki learns that walking around in a city with dozens of citizens who have superpowers is headache-inducing.
WARNINGS: Likely PG-13 for potential cursing?
[A]
On any given day, Shiki had gotten used to not wearing his glasses. He would usually walk back-roads where it was grassy--where the world was too open and diverse for him to distinguish the 'lines of death' that he saw versus the simply outlines of the blades of grass surrounding him. The mountains were easier, too. Craggy rocks, walkways that weren't well-finished and everything up to that speed--it made it easier on his eyes.
Cities, though. Shiki found his nemesis in 'order'. He couldn't wear his burial cloth over his eyes without fear that someone would mark him for a weirdo. So, he wore it the same as a scarf, despite the warm weather. His neck was sweating, but he hadn't thought of stuffing the cloth in his pocket just because it was on the large side. Overall, his plain shirt, jacket and slacks didn't amount to much of an issue. There was just the scarf, his over-sized glasses and his eyes, which gleamed a bright indigo. Fortunately during the day, they weren't as bright--but, he didn't want to test out how bright they were when evening came around and the partying crowd came out.
Despite his best efforts to go unnoticed, the strain of walking could still occasionally get to him. Shiki found himself stopping on the sidewalk and reaching with one hand to touch his chest, trying to steady his heartbeat. When that got to be too much, he fell to his back, staring up at the sky and panting. Really, he just hoped nobody would step on him while he took a breather.

When he slipped into his apartment, he did so quietly. He didn't bother keeping his folder--only the essentials he needed to survive. The rest of that was destroyed the moment he got a chance. Borrowing a lighter to torch it seemed the best way to handle that.
Though, he didn't know what to expect when he walked in. He was, after all, surprised to see how large the place was and that there were already peoples' belongings there. As he came to the conclusion that he wasn't alone in that place, Shiki cursed under his breath, "Damn it."

A!
What a pain. If only she could rip her own heart out at times, she wouldn't feel this intense need to help a person who was struggling themselves.
"Hey, are you dead?" Standing before his head, skirt and all, she peered down at him with a curious look in her eyes. "Or not quite there yet?"
A (I have no idea if this occurs before or after Rin's thread)
Both things occupied his attention. Which should make it no surprise that he didn't see the teenager lying on the ground and tripped on him, landing face-first into the sidewalk. Nice.
no subject
Though, he was about to have a heart attack. Rin spoke up and while he heard her moving over to him, he hadn't bothered opening his eyes. When he did--
"Miss," He said, exasperated. "If I wasn't dying before, I think you're trying to do me in now."
After! Shiki's anemic, so if he gets exasperated in a quiet moment, he could collapse.
"H-Hey," He brought his voice up beyond a whisper, reaching out for him. "Are you alright? I'm sorry--I--I collapsed suddenly."
Right-oh! And thanks for the warning!
The kid was in luck. This killer, right here, just wasn't in any mood to scold up anyone. "Just bleeding. Probably broke my nose. Happens all the time." After a pause, the guy asked, with a cold stare, "Shoulda picked a better place to nap. 'Least off the sidewalk. You're lucky I didn't step on you."
