open | i'm with the party rock crew
WHO: You, Jesse Pinkman, and some party people.
WHERE: A conveniently located park in Heropa.
WHEN: Saturday.
WHAT: Jesse's birthday! Turning 12. Feel free to tag in wherever or make your own sections.
WARNINGS: God only knows.
NOTE!!! Anyone is welcome to come, whether they replied to Skye's post or not. Stumble into a party, assume they saw the invite, whatever!
[For a last minute thing thrown by a two people who don't have much experience with birthday parties, it's all come together pretty well. Nevermind that they actually didn't have a place to hold the party until not too long ago (minor detail), but hey, that's what public parks are for. Covered seating, a hearty amount of streamers and cheap, brightly colored table cloths, food scattered around the tables--this is probably what a birthday party for a younger kid would look like.
Whatever, it's charming.
There's a man made lake and a few fire pits for cooking nearby, though it looks like meat was probably forgotten in favor of baked goods, chips, dip, pizza, soda, and beer.
If one pays attention, they may catch sight of Ellie and Skye exchanging high fives throughout the party. Well done, ladies.]

Leaving soon. it reads.]
Maybe we can get some food on the way back. My stomach's starting to remind me that humans have needs other than sex.

[Jesse flashes her a mischievous smile and ducks down to grab the rest of his clothes off the floor. He expects whatever this is to be a pretty casual affair, so he's not wearing anything particularly special. Or freshly laundered.]
no subject
I don't know, I hear water's pretty necessary. But uh, don't quote me on that one.

[With his clothes finally on, he runs his hand down his chin and tries to decide if he should bother shaving or not. Apparently he decides on not. He's too excited to get where they're going.]
I'm ready when you are.

[Skye grabs her bag from where she dumped it beside Jesse's bed last night and slings it over her shoulder.]
All right. Let's go.
no subject
Walking or driving?
no subject
Um. I don't know. Maybe... let's drive.

[His stupid yellow convertible is parked nearby, in a faculty spot, and he runs ahead to open the passenger door for her. Like a gentleman.]
no subject
Why thank you, kind sir. [And slides into the passenger seat comfortably.]
Come to think of it, shouldn't I be opening the car door for you on your birthday? Stop stop, we need to do it all over again.

[Jesse makes his way around the car and hops into the driver's side. He touches his thumb to the ignition, the engine roaring to life in response, and the car glides into hover mode.]
I never knew you were really into street art. I oughta take you up to Philly sometime. They got these mad awesome murals and shit.
[He is like 100% sure she's not going to show him any art, but he's playing along, okay.]
no subject
Anyway, more importantly, it seemed like a thing you'd like.
[He does have pictures of graffiti on his instagram after all.]
no subject
You got me nailed.
no subject
... Keep your eyes on the road, doofus.
no subject
[Sort of.]
This baby practically drives itself, anyways.
[No, it doesn't.]

[He's behaving, though. Eyes forward.]
no subject
Stop it, you're makin' me blush.
no subject
You makin' fun of me?
no subject
no subject
[Wait, he's getting distracted. He squints at the road.]
- I didn't miss the turn, did I? Is it this one up ahead?
no subject
Oh really.
--No, you're cool, it's this turn.
no subject
Okay, good. Now where was I? Something about bending you over...
no subject
[It's a bluff, of course. There's no way they're not going to this damn party.]
no subject
[He is the devil. He throws a little smirk at her as he takes the turn.]
no subject
[Also, they're on a SCHEDULE!!]
