Flying west means chasing darkness back across America; what had been the very early break of dawn in Nonah sinks back into night as Apollo hurtles over the continent. But the further north he soars - toward the midnight sun - the more thin, grey sunlight soaks up the sky. Apollo doesn't love the cold but this - this is beautiful.

Kylo's signal is characteristically Kylo-ish. Apollo drops out of the sky like a golden arrow, trailing light in a crackle of ozone and charred oxygen, and in his excitement only just remembers that he should slow down as he approaches. Kylo and Ronan might not appreciate an Apollo-shaped scorched crater in their backyard.

He lands (with only a few glassy scorchmarks) a healthy distance from Kylo, and immediately strides towards him with both arms thrown out wide.

"You-!" Is about as much as he manages to say - a rather choked up, fond accusation of something - before he bodily wraps Kylo up in an embrace that not even the Force can save him from.
