[ The girl continues to make her way, only realising that something might be odd when the walks out of a patch of grass and sees the path. In the end, she decides that since she's never been to a forest before, it doesn't matter if anything is particularly odd about this, as she wouldn't know the difference.
She follows the path, happily taking in her surroundings, and how the animals seem fairly unbothered by whatever is going on. As she looks around she finds herself wondering if some of the larger trees are really old, and wondering if they're the homes of any deities. She'd read about how sometimes deities would choose a tree to live in and keep it healthy and safe for hundreds of years, and how forestry departments were always wary about cutting down such flora.
It was right about the time of these thoughts that she noticed Adam. Her eyes widen a little, believing that she had in fact stumbled upon some sort of deity. She couldn't help but whisper to herself. ]
Oh my gosh.
