WHO: Greed [ nestingdevil] | OPEN, EVERYONE
WHERE: The Devil's Nest, Maurtia Falls
WHEN: September 6th through the 13th
WHAT: The All-Nighter Event. With a bunch of flyers posted around the imPort cities and beyond, they're hoping for a big turn out.
WARNINGS: R. Probably for language, situations, semi-violence, and who knows what else.
It runs like clockwork; the pulsing sign shining "OPEN" sparks on at about four in the evening. Spitting at first, trying to find the circuits before it settles in with an unnatural rusted-orange. The kind suitable for a place like this.
A soft rain patters down on the pavement, bouncing off the roof like a stick to a tin drum. Patterns chase the alleyway, stealing the various colors from the establishments nestled in the crooks and going ink-black where the lights fade out. All in all, it's a typical week for Maurtia Falls; the underground waking up when the last bits of trying sunlight fight the never-ending cloud cover from above.
It's an alarm clock to those more suited to skip the day's facade.
Greed flicks the latch clean off the track once everything's in place. Not bothering to glance back, he sways in the direction of the bar. The next eight days should prove better for business. With advertisements placed throughout the major imPort cities and beyond, it's only a matter of time.
And if anything, that's a commodity he has in spades.
