It was a hard time, a really fucking dark time
WHO: M and Apollo
WHERE: M's apartment
WHEN: Post CnC2020
WHAT: M isn't feeling so hot after the events of CnC2020, while Apollo is ready to take large steps forward in their relatioship.
WARNINGS: Angst, maybe?
[It wasn't real. The thought passes through M's mind over and over again, but the cool, clear, logical fact of the matter does nothing to ease the blow that this is the second time he's found himself in an alternate reality of that nature, and in both instances wound up the same way. His implants were apparently too easy to hack in the right hands, these hallucinatory nightmares were apparently trying to tell him, and he had no idea how to fix it.
So instead he's taken to moping in his apartment, refusing to see people, until he can come up with some sort of a solution.
He's already hurt one person he cares about. He won't do it again.]
