The lute manages to keep up relatively well with a standard guitar too, even if it's a combination of chords and rhythms the poor thing isn't used to dealing with.
For the last repeated chorus he's waving for Noah and any other listener to join in if they haven't already (or provide the very useful nanana's). By the end, it's Jaskier offering up the applause, grinning at Noah as he does so. ]
