He sure could've brought her over... but once Sophie takes a good look at him, she forgets about it. Any thought about it vanishes she moment she gets a good look at him. His face... and the way he stands, the damage goes beyond that, she can tell.

She takes a step forward, one hand reaching out before she realizes what she's going. Fingers curl in the space between them. It's not as if she was going to touch his face
