The first thing to becoming a good liar is to have the right information. This kid fails with the first claim out of his mouth. Declan looks at him harder, debating. It’s too late to feign recognition now.

“No, you aren’t.” The confidence is set in stone; this is not Ronan and longer Declan looks at him the more differences he finds. “You aren’t tall enough, and you have no idea who I am.”
