Entirely just an observation from someone close enough to see the binder. And, at that, someone with a genius intellect who sees the binder. Plus who is a regular at this particular cafe. But David lets his eyes roll over Declan quickly, briefly interested. Well-dressed, carefully styled and handsome. As fitting a description for David himself. However, he manages to remain memorable due to small things, like wearing gloves inside and having nearly all of his skin colored and the yellow tinted glasses.

It's almost like David wants noticed. Which absolutely isn't true.
