"I have a hard time believing that no one gives a shit," he says quietly. The fight's gone out of him for the moment and he looks at Ronan, grateful to see him in this fucked up place. He doesn't know if it would be better or worse if Ronan were still with Bryde, but at least Declan doesn't have to sit and wonder, babysitting two dreams while their dreamers go off to God knows where with magic swords and mysterious people.
