Mysteriously indeed. Adam watches it go, and there isn’t really any doubt in his mind about her being the culprit. It’s just kind of funny, really.

He thinks about her suggestion. “I guess some people might. A couple of my friends.” He’s found himself with a lot more adult (and ancient) friends as of his arrival on this world, and adults seem to like shiny things just as much as any kid. Just different kinds of shiny things.
