WHEN: Today
WHAT: Drinking tea, enjoying each others' company, and working on cryptic puzzles. ngl it's mostly for the company.
WARNINGS: nah
She's been adjusting well to life in this new reality — Anathema had a tendency to seize the future with both hands, browbeat it into submission by sheer stubbornness and force-of-will — but she has to admit, there's something comfortingly and nostalgically familiar about this new wrinkle.
Anathema takes to research like a duck to water: she's completely taken over the kitchen of the house in Jeopardy, printing out all eight of the ciphers that had been shared on the network, and taping them to the walls. Her notebook's on the table, as well as a few books on encryption from the local library. She doesn't have a corkboard set up yet, but that's likely just a matter of time.
She's standing in the center of the room, hands on hips and surveying her domain, having just put on the water for the tea when there's the sound of the politest knock in the world.
