WHO: xion and YOU
WHERE: heropa, out and about, everywhere
WHEN: the last week of august
WHAT: summer vacation is ending and xion has a list of things she wants to try before it's finally over.
WARNINGS: none
[ Summer is Ending and it's... weird, to have had so much time to herself. Time with no one else telling her what to do, or telling her that she's screwing up by not being productive. Before she knows it the time has slipped by and she's staring at only a handful of days left before school starts up again, and what does she have to show for it?
Well. A sunburn, for one. So she has a list of things to do before this is all over. Any number of her friends are free to be recruited into the need to accomplish this list.
It, of course, starts with flying a kite on the shores of Heropa's beach. Kite flying is, unsurprisingly, a lot harder than those bluetube videos made it look. The kite doesn't seem to want to get off the ground, and when it does, it just seems to want to divebomb whatever poor unfortunate soul isn't paying attention at the time. She'll also be found routinely trying to figure out the right technique to skipping rocks. And, on one brave occasion, trying to actually swim.
She already volunteers! So that's another thing off the list. But they want her to try to recruit foster parents for the dogs. So you might be approached by a girl with a herd of puppies on a leash, offering out a flier and a clipboard with a pen. ] We're holding an event to bring in potential foster parents on the 6th of September. If you're interested, all you need to do is put your email down here.
[ also, hey? going for bike rides? that's less fun when you've never actually ridden a bike before. it seemed like a good idea at the time, but xion's never actually ridden one before. which is making for some interesting attempts. it's not that it's, y'know - hard. but the hood she wears keeps slipping too far down.
so the solution to that is pushing it off and back - which unfortunately means that her power is active. if you look at her you might not see her face but instead the face of a missing loved one. ]
