WHO: Poe and TK-622
WHERE: MF
WHEN: After 622's network post
WHAT: dumb boys hopefully realising they've been dumb
WARNINGS: talk of PTSD, mental health stuff, hopefully some kissing, hopefully more than some kissing, hopefully this doesn't all just go really bad
They didn't talk much, during the run. It wasn't really the point of running in the first place, and Poe's mind was too haphazard and busy to fascilitate anything like meaningful discussion, anyway. Letting himself clear his head a bit by focusing on pounding the pavement was a welcome reprieve. Between that and the slow light creeping up at the edge of the horizon - dawn still a couple of hours away - Poe didn't even really notice when they'd run too far. They were almost out of the city, now, the road they'd ended up on a long empty one, densely wooded and scarcely populated.
It also became obvious how long they'd been running when Poe finally slowed, a little bit, and he found himself breathing hard and sweating. He wasn't completely out of shape - he worked out pretty regularly - but he'd been on leave from work for a while now and had been slacking off a bit, so he wasn't in as good a shape as he should have been.
"Let's.. let's take a break," He said, trying not to sound as winded as he did, as he slowed down to a walk. It was then he realised that he didn't actually know where they were, and he glanced around them.
"... Huh. Should have brought my carpet, I guess."

Because running while carrying a carpet was a brilliant idea. At least he brought a water bottle, which he was currently grabbing and uncapping.
