He hums approvingly at Jonas's choice of music; it's nothing like what he's ever heard before but Rupert can appreciate the belligerently cheerful nature of the upbeat melody. He carefully manoeuvres the car out of its double-spread parking lots, taking more care than usual not to hit any of the cars surrounding them, before smoothly crawling the car out and on to the street.

"Hold on to your hat, as the Americans say."

That - and the devilish grin that suddenly splits Rupert's pretty features - is all the warning that Jonas gets before his driver slams his foot on the gas. The car launches forward in a squeal of tyre upon tarmac, the engine rising in urgency and volume as they take off at a blistering pace.

So much for cruising.
