[closed] nothing's ever lost forever
WHO: Boba and Catra
WHERE: De Chima 001
WHEN: After the second wave of home deliveries
WHAT: Catra gently bullies Boba with his item from home.
WARNINGS: None, will update if needed!
[It’s been a day since Boba got the holo from Rex. Since then, he’s listened and relistened to dozens of its recordings, never finding anything new but not really caring either. It’s enough just to hear his father’s voice and see his father’s face. Part of him had been afraid that spending so much time with the clones would cause his father’s image to muddle with theirs in his mind, but there’s no mistaking Jango Fett. Seeing and hearing him now, Boba feels silly for ever worrying.
He ends up listening to it enough that it isn’t long before he leaves it in a public space just briefly when he thinks nobody else is home. He’s just stepping into another room to grab something and returns a minute later—only to find that the “book” isn’t where he left it. He immediately forgets everything else and starts searching for it, hunt growing increasingly desperate the longer he can’t find it. Eventually, when he’s reduced the living room to a state of disarray, he starts knocking on doors. He hadn’t thought anybody else was home, but he’s not sure what else to do—and if this doesn’t work, he might just try kicking the doors down instead.
Catra’s is the second door he knocks on.]
