[open] loth-rat, loth-cat, loth-wolf run
WHO: Ezra and you!
WHERE: Mostly De Chima and Maurtia Falls, can be elsewhere
WHEN: ~March~
WHAT: some open and closed prompts yeehaw
WARNINGS: N/A for now
I. poetry slam jam
[Ezra's job is going okay for the most part? He coordinates poetry events for some reason and he's been starting to sort of understand poetry. All in all, it's something that makes him feel responsible and an excuse for whenever he wants to skip out on training with Kanan. Also money? Money's good.
Today he's outside on the streets of De Chima, near one of the venues where they host poetry slams. He has a stack of flyers, asking for participants to share their poetry and an audience to enjoy said poetry. Although getting the flyers into people's hands is proving to be pretty difficult. Most people just walk by without even looking at him.
If you're not one of those people and seem interested, Ezra looks genuinely surprised, but offers up a:]
Hey. Uh... do you like poetry?
[Or when someone stops, but decides they're not interested, he might try a mind trick:]
You want to enter your poems.
[Later on when he's more tired, someone passing by might find they're suddenly unable to move forward, as if some mysterious Force is controlling their body. Ezra takes this completely coincidental event as an opportunity that he did not in any way create and goes up to the person with a smile!]
So. Poetry. You. Event. Yes?
II. kitties and lightsabers
[Since he can't practice in his house anymore(thanks Boba), Ezra's taken to finding new and interesting places to continue his Jedi-and occasionally Sith- training. He can be found in parks or open areas in various cities, either meditating or working on his lightsaber forms. Those familiar with lightsaber combat might notice his techniques are not only similar to Kanan Jarrus and Depa Billaba, but he also specifically uses Anakin Skywalker's version of Form IV.
[It was after his training with Kanan in Maurtia Falls. Ezra had happened upon a meta causing a disturbance, doing illegal things, hurting people, and decided to put a stop to it. The last time he didn't need Kanan to help him, and that was true this time as well. Maybe he went a little overboard, but it got the job done? Afterwards, he called Rex admittedly because that's what Kanan had done and he didn't know what else to do.
Now with everything sorted out, it's just him and Rex! Which is kinda awkward because now that they've handled all the police stuff Ezra doesn't know what to say. And this is technically their first time meeting in person?]
So.... yeah, I was- yeah. You're still not gonna call me General or Commander or anything, right? Because that'd be cool, but like you said no ranks, and I figure Rebellion ranks are also a no-go, and- [he catches himself before he rambles on any longer] Sorry. It's still weird. [Ezra gestures to Rex's whole everything before realizing that's kinda very rude] I mean! Not you! When I first got here, I was like okay weird time stuff. But seeing you is like... you know, you're really young? Not that you're super old in the future, but obviously you do get older so- I'm gonna shut up now.

Sometimes when he's in the midst of training, Loth-cats begin to gather around him. Maybe they can tell he's the only other being from the same place as them? It's weird Force stuff, and honestly... right now it's more annoying to him than cute. Yes, it's nice to see something from his home, but he'd rather be home in the first place. That and he doesn't want to accidentally hit a kitty with a lightsaber.]
Hey, shoo... not now, okay?
[Except the Loth-cats start to growl, influenced by Ezra's presence in the Force. And they start to attack him. Great. He's trying to reach out and connect in order to calm them down, but his anger's too overpowering at the moment.]
