WHO: The Narrator, Kylo Ren & Haru Okumura
WHERE: The Narrator's House of Romance
WHEN: February 15
WHAT: The House of Romance comes to an end as Kylo Ren seeks out the Narrator in order to end this farce - with a friend by his side.
WARNINGS: Probably violence and horror elements. Will be updated as needed!
[ The Narrator is vexed.
He knew this wouldn't work according to plan. Of course he did. The people of this world are contrary by nature, shying away at the slightest hint that some other may wish to guide their steps, without knowing that someone else already is. All the Narrator is doing is trying to make their stories a little neater, to make things work. To make it right. And why should anyone disagree with him this time? There is no pain. No death. No suffering. There's only harmless fancies, encouragements for them to get to know each other on a deeper level, to have some fun, to find their way to an ending in which they're all happy. That's what the Narrator wants. It is, if you believe him, all he's ever wanted.
A good ending to the story.
But through all of the bickering and all of the arguments and all of the rage, one figure rose above the rest as a particularly irritating thorn in his side. Kylo Ren, Asshole In Chief who has reacted to every passing fancy, every fluttering butterfly and every lacy heart with an air of fury that wouldn't have been out of place in his haunted house.
At the moment, Kylo Ren finds himself in a room waist-deep in bubbles and rose petals, classical music playing in the background and a box of chocolates elevated on a small platform in the middle of the room. ]
And so, Kylo Ren finds himself in another room, to doubtlessly react as humourlessly as he had to the previous hundred rooms, all the while wondering: why was it that he couldn't find love? No true human connection? Does it have to do with his childhood, perhaps? His inability to connect?
Or maybe it's just his absolute, utter inability to loosen up and have some fun for a change. They're bubbles, for god's sake. Everyone loves bubbles.
