WHAT: Small 'child' panics and decides against murder.
WARNINGS: Some violence
[Maybe she should have known better than to be walking around alone, in the early evening. She's an ImPort, but there are always variations within a given power structure. She's an ImPort, but she also looks just like a little girl--and they hurt little girls everywhere, if you go by Cersei Lannister's words. Worse, perhaps, she was wearing out the pearls Lestat gave her and a purse just her size, with a gold clasp. Real leather. This world's Chanel.
The most ironic thing was that she'd been hunting. Just a bit, you know. Making sure she wasn't getting rusty. But then it happens.
Someone snatches her purse.
She almost goes after him right then. Nearly makes the running leap, fangs out, to fit between the vertebrates in his neck. She's going to crack him like a walnut and smash the meat with her tiny feet. But everyone's looking up, a few people crying out. Pointing. Thief, thief. Headlights of traffic flash by; neon signs bathe her in light that even humans can see by. She rolls her eyes then joins the chorus.]
THIEF! [She points down the way.] Stop him! He took my purse!
