[open] where soul meets body
WHO: Ash Starmer/Green Newman and his friends/rescuers
WHERE: Maurtia Falls, of course! Because nothing good ever happens in the MF
WHEN: backdated to the days after Shamtheon
WHAT: Hux deactivated Ash/Green and left him in a ditch. Now it's been a few days and his friends are beginning to notice he hasn't been around.
WARNINGS: kind of sort of a dead body? blanket mentions of emotional abuse if Ash's past comes up at all.
There's a body lying in a mud puddle off the side of the road. An olive green raincoat is keeping the body from being completely soaked, but then... it doesn't seem all too water logged? It certainly seems dead, but there are no flies, no coyotes come to sniff the carcass. Also, it doesn't smell like a dead body at all. There's no sign of any wounds, no blood, no bruising. And of course, since Maurtia Falls has other problems to deal with, no one's in any rush to claim the body. Native citizens walk by it on their way to work. At some point, some caring soul left a bouquet of carnations there, like it was a memorial after a car accident instead of the scene of a crime. As the days pass, more people leave tokens of remembrance for the mystery man. More flowers. One of those LED candles in a brown glass votive. No one knows who the man is, only that he's an ImPort. "Oh, the body will revive itself in a few days," they think. "Just let the nanites do their job."
The nanites don't do anything. The body stays where it is.
