WHO: Luke and Marr
WHERE: Marr's apartment
WHEN: Sometime after the Majority Report goes live.
WHAT: Training, concerns over the future, bad life choices.
WARNINGS: Talks of questionable use of the Force involving strangulation.

The moment the number message from the report that morning was translated, Luke felt a cold knot of dread settle in his stomach. Between that, and the message from the seers the other day, he was fairly certain they were heading full on into something that they may be unable to stop. It was worse than the Emperor, maybe worse than anything that had ever spawned in their galaxy, and he didn't know what he was supposed to do.

He tried to preoccupy his mind with something else -- the engine, his family, just anything else -- but it wasn't working. Finally, he gave up, heading for De Chima; if his senses were going to keep pulling at him and plaguing him, he was going to do something about it.

Luke reached out with the Force as soon as he was on the same block as Marr's apartment, letting Marr know he was coming over, before quickening his pace, wanting to be in the building before he lost his nerve.

Marr had been keeping an eye on the network, and done his own digging, particularly after Jadus shared a set of very troubling notes with him. It contained information he had already seen himself, and new information he hadn't unearthed. With the way the porter drew people in, he had anticipated someone or something as dangerous as Vitiate would eventually arrive. He was not ready for it to be so soon after his own arrival.

He was drawn from comparing Jadus' notes to information on the network when he sensed Luke's approach. His research could be set aside for now. They were not scheduled to have a training session today, but Luke's turmoil was obvious. He was in the kitchen when Luke reached out, getting a quick drink for himself before he would have to hide his face for an undetermined amount of time. Everything tasted better when it wasn't from the small hydration reservoir in the armor.

Then he moved to the door to meet his unusual student.

Luke was a bright, anxious beacon in the Force, clearly distraught. He'd been making such good progress with his training, and now this. "I agree that your training needs to be increased," Marr remarked blandly as he stepped aside to allow Luke to enter.

He wasn't even going to address the comment about using Luke to force a vision. There was a long list of good reasons not to.
