"Right, Martini," he hoisted himself into the barstool, and got the order going, placing his for a whiskey, something Canadian and a little mid-shelf. If he was paying, he was going to at least treat himself. Bar drinks were expensive enough that he'd prefer to just have a bottle at home, but...the novelty of going out was fun, and not something he was exactly going to turn down.
"Anyway, it really depends on who you're asking out," he waved a hand. "Some people want to go half, and some people want to pay. Sometimes, you ask a woman out, and she decides they're going to pay," he tipped his head, like he was remembering something.
