Freddie wasn't drunk. However, she wasn't going to end this night on a low note. She was going to sort out how Kaidan felt about her no matter what. At his statement though, she couldn't help but frown. He thought she was drunk. What sort of tolerance did he think she had?
"I'm not drunk," Freddie responded, rolling her eyes. "I know exactly what I'm doing." Which, she hoped, Kaidan would take as meaning that she knew what she was doing when she put her hand on his. She scooted a little bit closer to Kaidan, making eye contact with him. "I don't need a break. If you want something else, however, just tell me."
