Archie frowns lightly, rubbing his beard. He's not so sure how much he believes that, but... he also doesn't really want to call Jacob's dignity into question by accusing him of lying, especially in a public place.

(It wouldn't be as dramatic as that, he knows on some level, but it's his excuse.)

"If you're sure..." he says, as close as he gets to it. "I guess it's a good thing we only fought once before that, right? Ha..."

He shakes his head.

"Well, anyway, if you wanna talk about anythin' that happened, just tell me. I know it's a bit late, but... better than never?"
