He nods to Rex. "It is, sir." The word slipped out without even realizing it. He's gone stonefaced, *worried* underneath it, but he had to push past that. He was going to have to tell Rex the rest of the story, because not only was it vital to how they all functioned here, it was tied in with what he'd been afraid to tell Rex about the future. Maybe he already knew some of it, maybe he didn't. Either way, it wasn't right to hold off on it forever.
Until then, nothing he could do, and thinking about it more wasn't going to help anybody. He did his best to relax once Rex changed the subject. "Powers probably helped for at least the first shot. Those things probably haven't been calibrated since they were made."
