Batman said it would take time for Superman to come around and he had wanted to believe that so much back then. If he was honest with himself, he still was. But with every encounter he has with Superman - or lack of - that hope dies a little. Would Superman care that he also had DNA from Lex Luthor? Would that play a part in his decision if he knew?

"Match is my brother. My older, full-Kryptonian, completely insane brother that's stuck inside Cadmus, which Luthor owns." Superboy doesn't know what Luthor intends to do with Match but it couldn't be anything good.
