Family isn't really something he does either, unless it's with the team who Superboy has practically clung to since he first woke up. Of course, there's really only one person he does want to have a relationship with and that person keeps pushing him aside. Batman said to give him time but while Superman flew around the world saving it, Conner was meeting the not-so-nice part of his family.

"I'm guessing you know the important basics. That I'm a Cadmus project to clone Superman." It's easiest to start there. To start somewhere in the early chapters of his life. Superboy has no idea what she knew and what she didn't but there are just certain aspects of his life that he can't get around. It wasn't his fault that he existed, that he was cloned from Superman's DNA.
