Russian Ice Tiger - Heropa 017
[There is a tiger sprawled on the porch of one of the imPort residences. He may be simply lying there, sunning himself in the dwindling warmth of the afternoon, or perhaps he's watching the street with a lazy gaze or even leaning down to press his nose against a regal looking housecat winding around him.
The point is, there is a tiger, and if you stand and stare at him for too long he may just call out—]
What the hell are you looking at?
Power Practice - Heropa Parks
[There aren't any tigers here, just a tiny Russian teenager making use of the skate ramps scattered around Heropa's various parks. He's gotten much more skilled at using them thanks to several months of practice, so naturally the next step is to begin to incorporate his powers into the new techniques he's taught himself. He extends ramps and rails with ice to give himself more lift or longer runs, and now and then he adds bursts of snow to his landings, the powdery stuff flying up around him for dramatic flair.
There's a camera set up nearby that he's been keeping an eye on, and after every few practice tricks he returns to it to go over the sample footage he's gotten. It's during one of these reviews that he frowns and worries at his lip in thought.]
Maybe the icicles would look cooler...
[Closed] Bluetube Filiming: Otabek+Yusuke
[Yuri's back at the park today, and he's brought the camera along with him again. This time, however, he hasn't bothered with the set up. Instead he's lounging on a park bench and browsing through some of the practice footage while he waits for Otabek and Yusuke to arrive—he'd texted each of them with where to meet him for filming. He was sure it wouldn't take too long; at least not once Yusuke decided how he wanted to frame the shots. And if it did, well, he could always call for a break. He had more plans today than just filming.
He'd spent a fair portion of the morning preparing a lunch for the three of them; a meal now safely stowed away in his backpack and kept chilled with his power. It wasn't terribly fancy—just a selection of sandwiches and some side dishes—but it would make for a nice addition to the outing. Yuri had even brought a blanket along for them to spread out or even curl up in if the weather turned too cold; stuffed into a bulging sidebag. He was as ready as he was going to get.]
